In addition to growing excellent coffee, Finca Terrerito also processes, exports, and imports their coffee along with coffee grown by other producers in the region. This shorter supply chain means more profits make it back to the farm and can be reinvested in the community. It also makes Direct Trade more accessible, giving roasters in the US access to these beautiful coffees and giving producers in Copan access to global markets. This control over the whole process also allows for unmatched levels of quality control and consistency that you will taste in the final cup. Their commitment to improving lives and the impact they have had on their community is clear, too. Over the past few years, they have been able to build a school, a medical clinic, and water wells for all their neighboring communities to use.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis coffee is well rounded; it has fruity and floral notes with a lot of sweetness and body. It's a fun chance to taste the difference, this one is a little more funky and floral compared to the washed counterpart.
